The school is situated in the beautiful suburb of Thorneside, a small tranquil suburb in Redland City, QLD.

Our vision is to offer children an education that will empower them to meet their future with clarity, courage, creativity and compassion. 

 

We value children developing the dispositions to be inquisitive and resilient learners through engagement in authentic projects and real world contexts. Main lesson involves curriculum integration and complex play that provide the hooks for engagement, builds social skills and provides contexts for learning.

 

The Steiner pedagogical approach weaves all aspects of the curriculum together to create seamless and authentic learning opportunities. Learning is enhanced when all children have increased opportunities to experience achievement, including diverse learners, who are not always successful in traditional classrooms. 

 

Our mission is to create a school environment based on the Steiner’s indications for education and an anthroposophical understanding of the developing of the whole child. The Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework is an approved Australian curriculum that we use to design learning opportunities that meet the needs of the contemporary child from Prep to Class 6.
